We have streamlined the process of connecting external data sources and initiating ingestion within the application. Previously, users were required to manually configure both the Connections and the Pipelines for Microsoft Graph API, Power BI API, and Google API. This involved multiple steps and often increased setup time during onboarding.
With this enhancement, the entire setup process is now automated using a consent URL.
The consent URL for each API is now embedded directly within the application, allowing users to complete authorization seamlessly from within the platform. If needed, the consent URL can also be copied and shared, enabling authorization to be completed on another device or forwarded to the appropriate team member responsible for granting access.
Once authorization is completed, the system will:
Identify which APIs have been authorized.
Automatically establish the required connections.
Create the associated pipelines for data ingestion.
Trigger an initial ingestion run immediately after setup.
This automated flow reduces manual configuration, ensures consistent setup across teams, and reduce the chances of configuration errors. Users can move quickly move to analyze the license usage after the automated setup.
We’ve expanded our Ask YäRKEN capability to include custom dashboards — in addition to the existing default dashboard support.
Users can now enable or disable the Ask YäRKEN feature in custom dashboards as needed. Once enabled, the Ask YäRKEN icon appears on supported chart types, allowing users to interact directly with the underlying data — asking questions, uncovering insights, or exploring trends.
To make the experience even more powerful, you can optionally define a custom prompt tailored to each widget’s context. This allows you to guide Ask YäRKEN responses more effectively — for example, by adding instructions for interpreting the chart, suggesting relevant questions, or focusing on a specific data query.
